Time Saved
2 hours
Estimated time saved each week finding owner and property information.
Problem
Acquisition research was spread across public records, maps, directories, and manual notes.
What Changed
Helps employees work one qualified lead at a time instead of sorting raw research lists.
Built
A research workspace that organizes property info, owner details, and next outreach steps.
Problem
- Acquisition research was spread across public records, maps, directories, and manual notes.
- Employees needed to judge confidence and next action quickly instead of sorting raw lists.
- The prototype needed to show data-source limits before being trusted in production.
What I Built
- Find Leads and Work Leads dashboard modes
- Map and queue workflow
- Owner enrichment route planning
- Source confidence and contact confidence indicators
- CSV export path
Solution
- Split the workflow into Find Leads and Work Leads to match real employee modes.
- Added confidence, missing owner fields, parcel/contact enrichment, map context, and next-action status.
- Documented public source limits and created a path from local storage to a shared production database.
Business Impact
- Helps employees work one qualified lead at a time instead of sorting raw research lists.
- Makes confidence, missing owner fields, and next action visible before outreach.
- Creates a clearer path from prototype local storage to a shared production database.
Lessons
- Research tools need to show uncertainty, not hide it.
- A good acquisition dashboard helps the user decide the next outreach action, not just collect more leads.
